Talk to your patient, not your screen.
MedSlay listens during the visit, transcribes 22+ Indian languages into clinical English, and drafts the diagnosis, medicines and tests. You confirm every word.
Questions doctors ask us
Does MedSlay store my consultation audio or video?
No. MedSlay never stores audio or video from a consultation. The voice module acts as an active listener: it transcribes speech in real time, puts the text into the case note, and discards the recording immediately. The written note is the record — there is no audio file to leak or lose.
Which languages does the voice module support?
MedSlay transcribes 22+ Indian and regional languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Urdu. It follows natural doctor-patient conversation, including switching between languages mid-sentence, and translates what the patient says into clean clinical English so your case notes stay in one consistent language.
Are the AI diagnosis and prescription suggestions final?
No — every AI suggestion is advisory. MedSlay drafts the symptoms, differential diagnosis, suggested tests and medicines from the conversation, then stops. The doctor reviews each field, edits anything, and confirms before a prescription is issued or a note is saved. Nothing is finalised, printed or sent without your sign-off.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new doctor registration starts with one month completely free on the full feature set — AI voice consultations, prescriptions, patient records, the token queue, analytics and the doctor directory all included. No feature is locked during the trial and no card is needed to begin. Talk to us as the month ends.
How much does MedSlay cost?
Your first month is completely free. After that you Make Your Own Plan (MYOP): instead of fixed tiers, we build a plan around your actual practice — how many doctors and clinics you run, your patient volume, and which features you genuinely use. Talk to us when your free month ends and we will build it together.
Is MedSlay compliant with Indian data regulations?
MedSlay is built to be DPDP compliant: patient consent is granular and independently revocable, every user has their own role-based login, sensitive data is encrypted, and activity is logged for audit. Consultation audio is never stored at all. ABHA/ABDM compliance is in progress and not yet complete — we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
Can patients find me through MedSlay?
Yes. The MedSlay Doctor Directory gives you a public profile page carrying your specialty, qualifications, languages, clinic addresses and OPD timings. Patients browse by specialty and city, then book a slot with you directly from that profile and receive a token number immediately, without phoning the clinic.
Can MedSlay analyse lab reports and scans?
Yes, through a custom Advanced AI add-on. It reads lab reports, scans and diagnostic documents alongside the consultation, so the findings appear in context with the patient's symptoms and history rather than as separate attachments you open one by one. It is configured per practice rather than switched on by default — contact us to set it up.
Does MedSlay work for clinics with multiple doctors or branches?
Yes. MedSlay supports multiple clinics, each with its own address and OPD timings, and multiple doctors who can visit more than one clinic. Administrators manage the whole setup centrally, while each doctor sees only their own patients, queue, prescriptions and analytics. Assistants are scoped to the clinic they work at.
Can my assistant or receptionist use MedSlay?
Yes. Assistants get their own login with role-based access. They handle patient registration, appointments, check-ins and the token queue, and can admit a patient to IPD — while clinical records, prescriptions and sign-offs stay under the doctor's control. Every action is logged against the person who performed it.
Does MedSlay support in-patient (IPD) admissions?
Yes. MedSlay includes a full IPD module: wards and beds on a live bed board, admissions built from treatment protocols, voice-assisted daily charts covering vitals, medicines, tests and condition updates, operative records for surgeries, and discharge summaries. An admission can be started directly from an OPD consultation.
Can MedSlay prepare insurance or mediclaim claim files?
Yes. On discharge MedSlay assembles the claim file from the patient's own chart: the day-by-day treatment record, the medication administration log, operative notes and an editable bill. An attachment checklist blocks sign-off until every document the insurer expects is attached, then produces a signed PDF for the insurer or TPA.
How do patients book appointments with me?
Through your public profile in the MedSlay Doctor Directory. Patients pick a clinic, a date and an available slot, then receive a token number and confirmation immediately. Walk-ins and phone bookings entered by your front desk join the same queue, so the clinic works from one ordered list rather than three.
What do I need to run MedSlay?
Just a browser and an internet connection. MedSlay is a web application — nothing to install, nothing to update, and no server to maintain at the clinic. It works on desktops, laptops and tablets, and a microphone is all you need for voice-assisted consultations.
Is my patient data secure?
Yes. Every user has their own login with role-based access, so staff see only what their role needs. Sensitive data is encrypted, activity is logged for audit, and patient consents are granular and independently revocable. Consultation audio is never stored, so the most sensitive material never sits at rest anywhere.
Can I send prescriptions and updates to patients digitally?
Yes. Every prescription is generated as a clean PDF on your letterhead, which you can print or share digitally, with dosage instructions available in the patient's own language. Where enabled, and with the patient's recorded consent, clinics can also send prescriptions and appointment updates over WhatsApp.
